This guy is special
Yesterday at Music Midtown Fest in Atlanta, I caught Daniel In The Lions' Den and was blown away (as I knew I would be.) I had to get tickets when I found out he was coming to Atlanta, no matter the cost. And when the day came, I waited for him, along with the thousands others in the park, for over an hour to come on stage--there was about an hour interim between him and the proceeding act, Big Sean. It was well worth the wait.
The total package as a performer, the guy is--you can tell he loves what he does, he can dance (surprised me actually what a good dancer he was), he can sing, and he has an awesome supporting cast in the Hooligans. People I've never seen be able to play instruments and dance like these people can! They are just on another level in comparison to other acts, both past and contemporary. Maybe there were superfluous loud pyrotechnics, but not enough to make me complain. There were literally fireworks and all the professionalism you look for in a top-tier performer. You walked away knowing he gave 100%. What a refreshing experience, to see someone in his prime on top, doing what he does best. You know how special the moment is when you're experiencing it. You know as it's happening that this is one of the concerts you'll remember years from now. You know you've just witnessed the premier act of the current generation. Nothing like it.
